Conflicts first. Roles defined in writing around what the case actually needs. Fee division consistent with the applicable rules of professional conduct, disclosed to and approved by the client in writing. Your client relationship stays yours; our job is to add weight where the case needs it. Please do not send privileged materials until conflicts are cleared and the engagement is confirmed.
